Keep on Moving….

I hide myself from no one.

I grew up in a house with six people.  Two adults, four children.  Three girls and a boy.

Living with a house full of people taught me to appreciate my alone time.

When I was 19, I left home.  I did some modeling and shortly after entered the music business as a promoter.

I was never home.  At one point in my life, I worked three jobs.

Then something weird happened.

When I was home, I wanted people around me.  When I was at work, I wanted to be home alone.

Why do people choose to live their lives this way?

So, I made some decisions.

I stopped modeling.  I didn’t like the attention I received (why were those people staring at me?)

Walking alone, in my own way.

Then I took some time to get to know ME!

And guess what I learned?

That you NEVER stop getting to know yourself!

Keep on moving, don’t stop, NO!

Friends and I have fun along the way.

Life never stops.  We continue to grow (we hope).

Find your own way to stay.

I’ve learned that while I love my privacy, my life is not about me.

Yellow is the color of sun rays.

I’ve learned that no matter what happens to me in life, it’s not about me.

The time will come one day.

The greater purpose of our lives it to inspire someone else along the way.

No matter how many people are in a room, someone there is lonely.

No matter how private a person is, they long for the company of others.

Regardless of what life throws you today  – catch it!  Catch it, mold it, shape it and make it into the greatness you were created for.  Run with it – keep on moving – don’t stop NO!

Today is Inspirational Women’s Day.

On this day, I celebrate these women (in no particular order) who have inspired me in one way or another this past year:

Follow them and be inspired to Keep On Moving!  Who knows, you might just inspire them as well 🙂  And show some love to at least one woman who has inspired you!

  1. Thanks so much for the honorable mention and it was a wonderful read! I loved it!

  2. Wow! It is as if you read my mind. Some days I want the admiration of people around me. Some days I want to be alone with my thoughts and dreams, and let God talk. This was a reminder to keep growing, and not to get stagnant! An excellent word for today! Thank you for sharing!
