Nobody Like Him!

Today as millions celebrate Christmas, I reflect on who Jesus is and who he has been in my life.

There’s nobody like Jesus!

This time of year, we often think of Jesus as a baby in the manger.  He is so much more than that.

Ecclesiastes 7:1 says, ”A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day of birth.”

His Name is Jesus!

While Jesus’ birth was significant, we should never forget the greater gift of his sacrificial death.

There’s nothing like his grace and mercy.

His name will live forever, but his death is what gives us hope eternal.

Nobody can turn my frown into a smile and give me hope again.

Oftentimes we see things in the physical.  But, there is a spirit man dwelling in each of us, which needs to be fed, nourished and developed as well.

Nobody can save me like he does, that can heal my body.

May we all take some time this day to reflect on Jesus and acknowledge him, no longer as a babe in a manger, but as the Savior of our souls.

There’s nothing like the love he’s shown.  I’m so thankful.

How would you feel if every year for your birthday, your family and friends recounted every detail of your birth and didn’t acknowledge the accomplishments of your life?

There’s nobody like Jesus.

What’s more – how would you feel if every year on your birthday, you got no presents, and instead people around you exchanged gifts with one another?

There’s nobody like Jesus.

In fact, what if people even begrudgingly gave gifts to people out of obligation and had nothing for you?

Nobody like him!

Please, take some time today and everyday to acknowledge Christ as King.

There’s nothing like his plan for me life and the words he’s spoken over me!

There’s nothing like the love that he’s shown, nothing like his grace and mercy.

Who wouldn’t serve a God like him?

Amen sis! While we had the gifts and the treats, we prayed before to thank Him for his love and his mercies. And we acknowledged that Nothing, not even the gifts we were about to open were possible without His love! Bless you on this and every day for your giving spirit!!!
